Default RE: washing camo

I may be the odd one here....but I prefer my camo to be a little faded. I feel it blends better. I just go to my local Army/Navy Surplus store and buy BDU's. The are tough as hell (everything double stiched) and I am still wearing aset (shirt& pants)I bought 10 years ago!

My adviseis wash them in cold and turn them inside out. Also try to line dry them as the dryer will make them fade as well.

But if you really want MY ADVISE, get yourself some BDU's (Battle Dress Uniform) from a surplus store and be done with it. Sure they cost a little more (about $35.00 for a shirt and $30.00 for pants) but they will last a long long time.......and they look cool faded.

I also think too much is put into camo. I killed moredeer, coyotes, fox, bear. etc...with plain army green issue than any camo I ever owned.
