RE: Coots?
Well, as I'm out duck hunting at least twice a week, I've shot a couple, mostly when nothing else was happening. To tell you the truth I didn't think they tasted that bad. Here's how I cook them. Fillet them, then cut them into bite sized chunks. Brown them in a frying pan. Pour in mushroom soup mix and whatever else you like(garlic powder, seasoning salt, pepper, etc) and wait till soup mix is boiling. Serve over toast and you should be good.
