I'm having much the same problem as TeeJay, although there's some pretty good reasons in my neck of the woods. Part of the land that I hunt is currently being developed. (Yup, it was real nice that my family and I received NO notice at all.

) Worse yet, we have a firebug on the loose: he's set all kinds of fires along the walking paths through the woods that I hunt. So, between the noise, the destruction of some of the better bedding areas, and the smoke, it's a wonder I see any deer at all anymore. It got so bad that I wasn't seeing anything for awhile there - no does and fawns, let alone bucks. Last night may have been a turning point: about ten does and fawns and a spike horn. So I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be seeing at least some deer (hopefully "Big Boy" will return

soon). I'm praying for a frost: once all that vegetation dies, I know I'm going to be seeing a lot of deer.
