I haven't tried this, but, the old-timers in South MS use their own sweaty shirtsto keep deer off gardens. After a day outside, hang your smelly clothes near the plots, since you change clothes every day, just replace the items every few days. My father-in-law used to farm a large area in Green Co. MS and he said they tried everything including mountain lion pee (this one upset the livestock and pets so bad that it was banned on his farm! LOL.), the dirty clothes were the only thing that worked. Think about how deer react when they smell you on stand.....
