For one thing there would be a major safety factor. It would only be a matter of timebefore people sneaking around in the woods in full camo would get plugged by an over anxious gun hunter.

Not all technology is bad. The compound bow is much easier to master than a recurve or a long bow there is no doubt about that. That factor aids in getting more people into the sport of archery and should help in the humane harvesting of game, though I realize that isn't always the case.

Technology will take care of itself. It goes hand in hand with the law of supply and demand. Whether one chooses to take advantage of it or not is another story. I don't believe technology will be the end of hunting. Money will play a much bigger role in my opinion. Hunting may always be around in one form or another but as it was in the "old country", you might have to be wealthy to legally participate.
