this nonsense should not be allowed. their attempts to get their way flies in the face of being "part" of the Task Force. if they are allowed to shove this down everyone's throat at the next public meeting, then this will be another
TASK FARCE.
they knew from the beginning that hunting would be an option. i say let them prepare their own report, submit it to the DNR and shutup!
However, i would also fight to have their report
NOT be accepted by the DNR as anything associated with the DNR's sanctioned Black Bear Task Force process and
NOT be recognized as any companion report to be considered for the management of black bears in MD.
