Careful what you ask for. True backstrap is the yellowish tendond that operates the neck. I don't think that would be very good eating.

Micheal. I probably won't run into you, I drew a tag in the Owyhee's for the late hunt. I will be coming off 9 days in Nebraska chasing the big cornbelt white-tails then go right into chasing some big mulies in the rut for 5 days. That equates to 14 days of white-tail and mule deer rut. No rest for the wicked I guess. I normally don't get too excited over deer, but this year is different for some reason. Time to get a biggun I guess. We still need to get together for a beer sometime. Beer helps the ruptured disk that I aquired this year. Damn bulls anyhow..............
