RE: Rohm RG10 .22 GMBH
RGs as a group are not known as fine examples of the gunmaker's art. Rg produced parts in Germany and assembled them in the US, to get around some of the import restrictions. Most of their .22revolvers had zinc frames, if I remember correctly, and the DA revolverswere noted for jumping time very quickly. I know of at least two examples where the person standing beside the shooter was in as much danger as somebody downrange due to lead spitting at the barrel/cylinder gap!
RG ceased production/importation about 10 to 12 years ago. Serious trotline fishermen were pretty upset at that, they seemed to make excellent trotline weights, but were pretty poor as bullet launchers.
I actually saw one new in box in a gunshop here in San Antonio, asking price was $200+! I almost had a stroke I was laughing so hard! Anyone from S Texas want to guess the gunshop?
