RE: The nerve of some hunters!!
People like that irk me. I would fill my tag and then watch for when he is hunting and drive up and down the road honking my air horn. Wouldn't help the situation any but I would sure feel better.
I know a land owner (not personally) here in Iowa that has 1000 acres he bought just for hunting. He lives outside the state and flies in during deer season. He pays a bunch of inbred hillbillies to trespass on other peoples property and drive the deer onto his. I have seen great herds of deer on his property and yet to him that is not enough.
That is another reason timber land is so expensive in Iowa. We're known to have monster bucks so out of state big wigscome in here and pay more than the property is normally worth to get the land. We also have rich people offering to lease hunting rights from farmers. Can't blame the farmers for wanting/needing the extra income. Neighbor got offered 10K per year to lease the rights to his 200 acres. He turned them down when he heard from other farmers how these guys will go in and shoot livestock and trample the crops.
