I'm assuming you are hunting on private property. Regardless of whether you are on private or public property, unless you are on his property, I would ignore it and/or tell him to F off. You said this guy hasn't hunted in five years. Is it because he violated some game laws and had his privledges rescinded? If that's so, you might want to let the GW know where this guy is to make sure that he is being watched.
