Default RE: Bows loosing their pop?

Sure get ya a new one!

WhenI shoot my Old Z-light it amazes me how far archery HASN'T evolved sinceI bought it in ~96. Sure the new ones are a little better here and there, but nine years later this bow still smokes.

Last timeI chronied it it was shooting, 65#, 29" draw 425 grain arrow at 255fps and doing it quietly to boot. Not shabby at all seeing how my $650.00 Patriot does all the sameat about 10-15 fps faster. Sure it's quieter, faster and doesn't kick- but $650.00 better? I think not.

Get you a new one if you want, a new bow does make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside- but don't use your old one as an excuse- it's still the bow you bought7 years ago. Put some new strings and cables on it and it's good to go.
