I got busted drawing on a doe tonight. she never saw me and I don't think she ever winded me. She heard my arrow sliding over my rest and bolted. I have never had a problem with contact noise between the rest and the shaft before and could hardly believe it. Turns out there was a residue of baking soda on the shaft from scent killer spray. That is the first time I sprayed these arrows down and didn't pay attention to how they dried. Next time I know better. After I spray them I will wipe the residue off. I'm going back to that blind wednesday evening after work. I'm gonna drop that doe!
