That really is a raw deal! I would like to know though...was the guy PAYING you for your time while helping him out or were you working for free for hunting right? If you were working for free for hunting rights, make up an invoice/bill and send it to him with the words on it..."The money is pretty good!" There isn't ANYTHING in this world for FREE!
The way I'm reading your story, you were working for the hunting rights and he burned ya down. Turn about is fair play.
