Me, I will be getting a 30-06 next year for elk. Not that the 7mm-08 wont kill them but I want to be able to shoot 200 grain pills at elk
I have killed 14 elk and have never used a .308"bullet heavier than 180gr because they simply aren't necessary.In fact the 180gr tsx that I am now using will outperform nearly all of the 200gr bullets available with less recoil and a flatter trajectory.
