RE: IBO speed
It is not hard at all. You do need to properly match your arrow spine to your specific bow set-up. This takes into account Draw weight, bow type (recurve vs compound), cam type (if compound), and realease style (fingers vs realease).
My wife shoots a 50# compound and shoots an arrow weighing 259 grains at 284 fps. 27" draw.
I shoot a 70# compound with arrows at 360 grains traveling 274 fps. I could go lighter on arrows to try and increase speed, but I like the bows performance where it is at.
Whatever your bow set-up, you can get arrows to match. Are you trying to reduce arrow weight and increase speed? What set-up are you currently shooting?
