I personally shoot all my deer high with my bow. I know alot of guys have bad luck with hitting deer high, but a high shot 90% of the time almost guarantees a double lung shot, and that is the shot I want. The only thing you can hear with my bow at the shot is the arrow in flight whistling (with my target arrows - vanes are all messed up).
