That's awesome bigbuck... I agree, the average wedding costs upwards of around $20k nowadays... what a waste of money, that's the spirit, go into debt BEFORE you get married... what an idea. I have never understood that. I got lucky, our parents are both divorced, and everyone chipped in $1000, so we only had to put out $1000 ourselves for a gorgeous wedding. If they wouldn't have chipped in, I guarantee we would have gone to the courthouse!

Funny, we were very composed too, neither of us EVER got nervous, we were both laughing and cracking jokes... people were amazed, but I think that's a good sign. I have never understood why you would get nervous unless you have doubts. My husband went golfing the day of with my dad, my brother and a couple of our friends and he was cool as a cucumber. I just got my hair and makeup done, had breakfast and chilled at my mom's house until an hour before the ceremony. My advice is do NOT overbook your wedding day, do something relaxing and savor every moment of it with those closest to you.
