Slugman, you have my apologies.....I assumed you were up to something there (even if it was to just impress the ladies)If your buddy was selling that for $400 I think I'd almost feel guilty taking it from him after seeing what other Bear recurves sell for normally.

I still want to see some pics of that bow though, better than the Archeryhistory site. As Arthur can tell you I have had a sudden uncontrollable interest in Recurves again and I'm just eating all this stuff up.
By the way I just picked up the same bow you have (Pearson Hunter 709) to get me flinging arrows until I can figure out what I want to order exactly from Chek-Mate for a possible late X-Mas or Birthday present.
