on the ibo web site,
www.ibo.net, the rules are posted for each class. some of them are going to change soon, but for now you will get a general idea. in short, there is a bowhunter class, basic setup would be 4 inch vanes, screw in points, 12 inch stabilizer, fixed pin sights, and a lot of fun. basic ibo setup would be 5 grains of arrow weight for every pound of draw weight.....meaning, a 70 lb bow you need a minimum of 350 grain arrow. there is a max draw weight for compound bows, 80 pounds.....tough guy weights for sure....you can have vibration absorbers on the bow, as well as on the rear, as long as it is not a weight or stabilzer....and welcome aboard....you will enjoy it.
edit, there is a 35 yard approximate yardage in the hunter class, unmarkednaturally.
