I shot my first doe on Sunday morning in Comanche County in Texas. It is my first kill with a bow, and my second time out in one weekend. I shot her at about twenty yards and she only ran about thirty to fourty yards when I heard her crash from the tripod stand. I know I might catch flak from some of yall because she's small, but I couldn't have asked for a better first deer and I am very happy with this one. Everyone I've talked to was right, once you bowhunt the rifle's gone, and I haven't even rifle hunted.
