I hear ya Reb- Sounds like you have a nice piece of property t& that others want to . land use to be cheap here- Now tons of growth all over- no land thats afforable- Many many developers putting up many buildings...... sub urban sprawl all over the place.

I moved here in the bust times of the late 80,s- everyone had left the state - pretty much many empty homes back then- cheap too. Town really did look like a ghost town at one time.
