I bought an old used spine tester and I want to test it with an arrow of known spine........ However, the only arrow that I have that I KNOW what the spine is are Easton Legacy shafts.......Can I use an Alluminum arrow to "calibrate" my scale to woods shafts?

Also, I know the length of the shaft can effect the spine "effect", but will it change the actual spine reading?
