Default RE: 2003 Shooter of the Year Program

These people in the hunter classes that want a shooter of the year are absolutely hilarious. Do you seriously want a shooter of the year. Half of these "pro hunter classers" should be up in another class anyhow. What defines the HUNTER CLASS? I beleive the intent of the hunter class is to provide a class where people who are seriously just hunters can participate in these shoots and help our sport grow. The only reason there is any rules anyhow is because if you didn't have rules of sight/inserts/fletching/etc restrictions, then you would have some yahoo shooter that should be in a semi-pro class go out there with an MBO set-up just to say he won the HUNTER CLASS. And would be prouder than could be to say that he was a world champ in this class to the people back home. People if you want a SOY in a class then step up to a higher class and leave the Hunter Class to those who just want to hone thier skills for the upcoming deer season to bag that buck of a lifetime.
