Thanks! I needed that!! I'll take shots on coyotes that I wouldn't consider taking on a game animal....I've seen how destructive they can be and they need to be thinned..heck I wouldn't set a leg trap for deer either but I do on coyotes....Taking a head-on shot (notice I did not say head shot) is not a shot I would even consider on a deer, elk, antelope, etc but on a 25-35 lbs coyote it is very lethal. I didn't intend to shoot the one in the eye but he decided to look at the thing flying at him I guess....Don't know....Have yet to lose a coyote shot with my bow yet so I must be doing something right.

I agree I think it is a ridiculous rule. There are too many success stories to say the mechs don't work. But I personally, based on the above will not use them....yet.....
