Google earth is a neat toy, and useful for finding directions and such. Some areas just aren't clear when you look at the aerials though. I use a tool that gets aerials and topos from the microsoft terraserver database. Its called USAPhotomaps. You can download it free at www.jdmcox.com. Its very GPS friendly. You need a waypoint to start with and just go from there.
