I have found pot plants in the woods a number of times,in one instance there was fencing around them and a gravity fed water system in use.I was a little creeped out because as one fellow has already said some time's the growers will rig booby traps.The police in our area don't get to concerned about pot offenses unless it is beyond minor stuff.I don't drink or do drugs,just not my thing,never has been.
I wonder if the person that invented GPS technology was a pot grower.
