Default RE: skeet/turkey gun

I wasn't talking about getting a dedicated turkey gun. Sorry if I made it sound that way. I was thinkin the same thing. An 870 or 500 with interchangable chokes so you could use it for both. The mossberg comes with three chokes standard and my turkey choke was like 40 bucks. The gun was $254 with tax out the door.

The mossberg youth models offers a shorter length of pull and a closer pump cycle with a ported barrel for the 12 guages. It also has an upgrade option later. I got the youth model because it fit me better.

If you don't want to shoot a youth model, then get a seperate single shot for your daughter that fits her in a 20 gauge. Rossi, H&R/NEF should work and will be inexpensive.

I was not suggesting a turkey gun for skeet. I would never get a dedicated shotgun in this day and age unless it was a slug gun. Most systems you can change chokes or barrels easy enough if you want to hunt something different.
