Default RE: Rifles in bad hands

1st and foremost. I PM'd the member in question.He is not obligated in any way to send you the PM for your review and comment.

Topic;
Your back peddling on the topic.Your not providing any stats on semi auto hunting incidents that would dictate legislating away "semi auto" weapons.
Shooting livestock,poachers and tresspassers have nothing to do with the proper use of semi auto weapons. You start with semi auto weapons and the next thing - there gone - done - out of production.The simplest solution as you state is a cop out for liberals who feel they need to legislate everything to suit the minority.

Hell lets do this - legislate to stop producing all semi auto and pump guns.Wow - we'd all be big time safer in the woods Lets legislate out all the gas hog SUV,P/U's.They also cause increased injury and death to those in mid size and compact vehicles[]
Lets throw in ATV's, dangerous,useless,waste of fuel. I never needed one - why do all these people need an ATV! Lets get rid of them all. Lets throw in all the big bass boats and any pleasure boat over - lets say 25'. A total waste of our nations fuel and also polutes our water ways and fisherys[:@]

Lets legislate against Big Mack cheeseburgers and similar fast foods that cause obesity in young kids. The list could go on and on. This obviously is not the solution or at least should be an absolute LAST RESORT in our society.Let the citizens regulate themselves whenever possible. A prime example is self imposed QDM methods.

Your opinions on the topic have some validity but are simply your opinion and not supported by any stats that would sway anybody in this thread.

Another Whole Topic;
If you truly want a safer woods lets start with ZERO tolerance for alcohol in the woods - ZERO. Forget the semi auto nonsense.
