I believe there is a fine line when it comes to helping someone. IMO, you can point someone in the right direction, but don't expect someone to tell you which tree to sit beside. If you're looking for just general info, I would have no problem helping anyone. With that being said, I have no clue about your area or game.
I'm sorry the locals feel the way they do. I don't think many people on this forum are that way. Wish you the best of luck!!!
