I took this shot and didn't take into consideration the tall grass. The grass took enough energy out of the arrow and deflected it which resulted in a wounded buck. The arrow struck him low in the hind missing the femoral artery. 500yds and aempty bed with a small amount of dryed blood was the ending.So from experience I say NO,it's just not worth the risk of wounding one.
