Default RE: Let him hunt or not

Everyone is right and wrong IMO. We've all been there and done that. 15yrs of friendship means more than a BB. Rules are Rules. Hunt with your buddy. You got him in the sport. Show him the ropes a bit. I am terrible at judging deer from a elevated stand so to remedy that I will hunt from a ground blind. I'm not around WT's enough to make a accurate size estimation because of my service obligation. When I get the time I take it.I understand the rules of the ranch I hunt and always keep them in the back of my head when drawing down on a deer. Your friend needs you to help him understand why and why not to shot. You did the scouting so you know what's what. Take a little time out of you busy schedule of sitting in the blind or stand by yourself and educate you buddy. He'll appreciate it more than you will ever know. This is not a rip. I'm just as passionate as youbut I reflect on myself 1st. Hope you work it out. Best of luck this season.

Respectfully
MD
