Here's a good question for all the "pro's" out there... <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
I am shooting aluminum XX75's #2315 Easton arrows and have 125gr field tips. A buddy of mine gave me two thunderhead 100gr broadheads the other day to try out.
Is there a massive difference in 100gr versus 125gr? My PSE Centerflite lefty bow is 65# draw and 30" draw length. I consistently hit the bullseye with the field tips at 12-15 yards when practicing in the backyard. Wouldn't a lower grain make the tip too light?
Can someone explain in layman's terms the differences in grain and trajectory? Thank you....
