RE: 45 Knight Disc
Many bedding jobs done on rifles (when done correctly) will greatly improve the accuracy of the rifle. My T/C Black Diamond XR is a free floating barrel. It is one of the most accuracte rifles I shoot. My new Knight Disc rifle is custom fit to the stock. When you tighten the lug to lock the barrel in place, you can feel the stock surround the barrel. It might not be floated, but it sure is bedded.
Knight told me the same thing when I asked them about projectiles, and that was to shoot the Knight Red Hot sabot combination. They are made by Barnes Bullet company, so I shoot the Barnes Expander which is a little less costly (not much mind you). I also shoot the XTP which do real well in the rifles for the most part.
I'm glad to hear that the rifle shoots well. Another person I was talking to with Knight .45 caliber was telling me how accurate the 460 grain No Excuse Conical bullets are out of his rifle. He said he shoots them with 90 grains of powder and the down range accuracy is exceptional. That is a long heavy chunk of lead to be throwing around but anything it hits is going to know it....
Good luck with your rifle.
