Howdy guys!! Back from NM elkless, but oh well. I finally got out to do some bird hunting! Went for geese and to try my layout blind, but didn't do so hot. I did go out after work to a place close to work that's in the northern zone here in Wisconsin, and shot two mallards, a blue wing and a goose!! It was awesome, I should have got a limit but the first mallard was a hen, and I had to pass on about four or five flocks!! They were everywhere!!! Can't wait to go out again, hopefully Thursday.
