If you have scope on the gun its not a big deal, if you sight the scope in at 100 yards, its gonna hit 100 yards no matter what eye you use. I always hunted righty because that just came natural to me. Then in high schoolI made the riflery team and it turned out my dominant eye was my left one, so for rifleryI shot lefty. Ive hunted righty with open sights and never had a problem, so I dont think that the dominant eye thing is that big of a deal, ive missed some shots but ive also made some, and I dont attribute that to not using my dominant eye, its cuz sometimes you hit and sometimes you dont for whatever reason. However since I can shoot both lefty and righty now cuz i taught myself lefty for the sake of the riflery team, i consider that a good advantage. Ill never not get a shot because "the deer came in on the side of my shooting shoulder and I couldnt reposition". Dont sweat this too much, i would teach urself how to shoot with both eyes because it gives you a bigger shooting spectrum. Just go hunting........youll be fine.
