I don't own one slugman but have sure read a lot of reviews on the rifle. Almost all the owners claim excellent out of the box accuracy, and they are not too fuzzy about what they shoot as long as you keep the charges around 100 grains.

I did get an opportunity to handle them a couple times. I like their fit and balance, and the fiber optic sights on the ones I looked at were excellent. The only complaint I have heard about them is their ramrod needs some attention. My understanding is it is one of them collapsible kind, and although they work, people do not seem to like them as much.

There was another post about them not to long ago where a site was listed with some excellent prices. I was going to book mark that for future reference but I didn't. Good thing probably, I'd of went and looked at that stainless steel model for I think it was $179.00 and ended up with another one...

For the money, I think they sound like an excellent rifle..
