I would set up on the downwind side of the bedding area.The bucks will cruise the down wind side starting in the pre rut phase.You will see more action then you can handle if you can get to and from this area without spooking the does off.Dont set up too close but close enopugh to keep it in site.If you look then you will find old trails on the down wind side of the bedding area.Set up there.
