RE: DUMBEST THINGS WEVE EVER DONE IN THE WOODS?
Annie, that was a pretty brave thing you did. Admitting to a mistake made while hunting. Like some of the others, it could've been disastrous but thankfully it was not. I'd almost bet that for every one honest person admitting to mistakes or accidents here, there are 30 that won't admit it or are too afraid to. Actually, some of these incidents scare the hell out of me, especially after having been shot in the back accidently on opening day last year with a 12 guage slug. Even under the best conditions, and having taken every precaution, accidents happen. I know for a fact they do now and I'm wondering if I'll ever be able to gun hunt again without whincing or wanting to hit the dirt every time I hear several shots in the woods. As long as we learn from our mistakes and don't make them again, we can be thankful no one was injured and laugh about it later.
Hope everyone has a safe and successful hunt this season.
Ciao,
Vinny
