Anybody own one of these? I recently purchased a 1.5-6 x 32 in the Simmons WhitetailExpedition line and am quite happy with it's optics, and particularly the eye relief. I learned that the Whitetail Expedition line has the exact same lenses and optics mechanics as the original Aetec line (not the new Master series).
After receiving the 1.5 - 6 and mounting it on a little 6.5 Swede carbine i was very pleased. I soon noticed that there were several of the 4-12 x 42 Simmons Whitetail Expeditions for sale on E-Bay. After losing several auctions I finally won a 4-12 x 42 and will be getting it in the mail by early next week.
I am looking forward to mounting it on my .243.
Anybody else ever use a Simmons Whitetail Expedtion? I'd be real interested in your experiences.
