RE: release loop or string?
I went to a loop this year on my Allegiance, only because I wanted to try one. I always shot off the string, with no problems. The advantages I see with the loop are - less wear on the serving (though I never had a problem with a quality string like WC), easier to adjust the nock height if needed, and the best reason of all, that the arrow doesn't pop off the string on a let-down. The main disadvantage of a loop is loosing a bit of draw length, i.e. power stroke. With a short head release, like the Rhino, this is minimal.
All in all, I like the loop and plan on staying with it for now.
