Gutshot: There is a lot of great advice on making scrapes on this board and the Deerhunting board if you do a search for scrapes. That's where I learned about it. The key, from what I have read, is to make sure of having an overhanging branch about 4'-5' high and putting some sort of gland type scent on it. I don't know if urine would work or not. It would seem odd to have a urine scent that high, but I don't know if the deer are smart enough to realize that or not. I would assume they would.
