Default RE: CVA PRO MAG SHOOTERS

CVA's a division of BPI inc. They're going to recomend powerbelts. If you don't mind spending that kind of money on them go right ahead. They're very accurate out of my CVA Hunterbolt. For some reason, everybox I buy, they're all out of round, but still accurate. Hornady xtp's don't fit in mine so good luck. Buffalo bullets are hard to get in the muzzle but once their in, they go down alright. they give you piece of mind knowing that once their on the powder they won't slip forward as easily as powerbelts can. I havn't got much else on bullets, last year I found pb's on sale and bought enough to last a couple years at the rate I'm going.

T7 makes a crud ring whether I use a magnum load or not. I'm blaming the 209 ignition. Pyro select is just as accurate as T7 but leaves a nasty mess behind after every shot, the lenght of the barrel. T7 only leaves the ring where the bullet seats so I'm stickin' with it. Part of the reason I like pb's is that even when there's a lot of fouling, they still go down easily enough to get quick follow up shots.

Hope this helps,
Grapes
