Well boys, I got my first deer with a bow yesterday. I have been hunting deer with a rifle for years, but never with a bow. I bought a bowtech allegiance 70# 30in draw and have been practicing all year. In all my previous hunting, I have always shot bucks, but they doe I shot with my bow yesterday had me smiling from ear to ear. My muzzy 125's in 3-blade went through behing the front shoulder exactly were I was aiming and went completely through the far front shoulder bone! It bent up some of the broad heads a bit, but they really did the trick. She went 20 yards and fell over. I am hooked on bow hunting and may not even gun hunt this year. 1 down, 2 archery tags left to fill! Now, if only the big 6X6 will come to the same 12 yard shot!!
