I use to get buck fever so bad I damn near fell out of the stand. That was when I was a rookie to the sport. I started going to the state parks where deer here are abundant. I got use to seeing deer all day long so it was not such a rush it seem to help pretty good. I do still get a rush no doubt but I can keep my balance now.

That rush is what we love as hunters so enjoy it but you do need to keep it under control. Remember to breath slowly with deep breaths.I still get a rush when I am about to shoot a doe and I have shot countless numbers of them. I do think it gets better with experience though.
