I have read reports of others who have seen "bigfoot" in this area, but I've always been a little skeptical. Anyway, I have a good friend that has seen a mountain lion. My brother in law has seen some 'gators in Wheeler Wildlife Refuge (where I also hunt). The worst I've seen was an Emu while hunting (no less on Thanksgiving). I could have had the biggest T'giving bird in the country that year<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
I have another good friend that hunts close to my house (on a mountain). He has heard some unusual growling/gruntle sounds that made the hair on his neck stand up. He had his father with him once, who cannot hear very well, who also heard the growling noises. He said it is unlike anything he has ever heard, and I think it spooked him some. Oh well, If I ever see one, I'll think I would stick an arrow or bullet in it, but don't know.
