My Grandfather is looking at geting a used 30-06762 pump for an elk hunting trip. The rifle he is looking looks like it is in verygood condition and it's in the price range that he wants. The reason he wants a pump is because both he and my uncle have to be able to use it and he is left handed and my uncle is right handed. What my question is how much differance there is between the 762 and 7600?Is there anynoted differance in relilabilty and accurcy between the two guns? If he gets that rifle what kind of accurcy can he expect out of it? And my final question, is there any specific reason why he should not get a 762? Like for example, prone to jamming, barrel will burst, misfires every other shot, will fall apart in hands when fired for the first time.And my final final question, what was the reason the 7600 replaced the 762?
