Both are good guns and both will be accurate. I would go with the Ruger 77 Mk II. I have one in .223 and one in stainless 300 WSM and both will shoot a 1/2" group at 100 yards. I put a timney trigger on my .223 and I did a trigger job on my 300 WSM.My brothersMk II.223 will shoot 1/2" groups at 100 yards also and myfriends Mk II .260will also. I would not hesitate to buy or recomend a Ruger to anyone. Good Luck.
