Just bought a new savageand put 120 gr pioneer ffg and a 250 power belts. The first three shots out the barrel grouped at about 1 1/2" at 100yds.the trigger is awsome.

Just curious.. since I've never held or assembled one.
Do you need to keep changing - or even use those vent liners in that Savagewithout the use of centerfire smokeless powder? That's an expensive ordeal for folks like me that shoot multiple jugs of powder every year-if the liners are still necessary for any blackpowder use in that rifle.
