After asking and being denied permission , then I follow my personal ethics regarding the animal. You might not consider that part of hunting ethics , but I do.
I consider breaking the law/trespassing to get your deer to be unethical. Your personal ethics seem to be,
o.k.I'll ask permission to get my deer but if I'm told no I'll just go ahead break the law and get it anyway. Doesn't seem very etthical to me. You are willing to follow the law as long as it doesn't stop you from getting your deer. Why bother to ask in the first place? My oh my... whith those ethics what other laws would you break in order to get a deer? If you see a nice buck going on to private land andyou ask permission to hunt there knowing the land owner doesn't hunt and he says no do you go ahead and do it anyway? Why not, he's just being an a$$. Why bother to ask in the first place? Why not ask him for a couple of dollars for gas too and just take it if he says no.
