That is a special feature offered by our folks at Remington. Get the trigger adjusted or better yet replace it. I have 2 Remingtons right now. One with a nice aftermarket trigger, shoots great, and another that I have had to play with a bit but still not real happy with it. It will be replaced soon too. Keep it real clean it helps.
